Helix, updating 2.10 - failure

I have just tried to update my Helix - ver. 2.10.

But that doesn't work.

The updating stopped - with the message: "Boot failure ......."

The Helix is now worthless. Can't restart the Helix.

How can I start the Helix up again?

I am having the same problem. When I restart the helix the screen is flashing helix and then rack. I checked and I didn't download the rack update by mistake. Cannot get the helix to update. I am using Windows 10. Never had this problem before.

 

Edit-I have tried every combination of footswitch boot sequences and still nothing. I have even tried on a different computer with Windows 7. Still the same symptoms as everyone else has stated. If I boot holding 9 & 10, the screen goes blank.

You can try some of the options provided on this http://helixhelp.com/pmwiki.php?n=Main.ResetOptions page, particularly the safe boot. Make sure you have backups though.

I've got a new Helix.

I do believe, that updating with Windows 10 has been the problem.

Yep, this is Exactly what is happening to me...Looks to me as if the update is for Helix Rack even if you're updating a floor unit.
