BillBee
When is the last time the tubes were changed?

BillBee
Yeah it "might" be time as they don't last too long under steady use. That is my best guess. Way back when I got my first real tube amp it started sounding like a motor boat (sputtering, spitting) yep - tubes. 1-2 years was all I got out of them. But they do sound damn good!
