I have a Tone King Royalist 45 and I wanted to get a POD HD500 in the effects loop to use the mp3 option only (to be able to jam along some songs from Spotify or something else). The question is: - Can it be done? - If yes, any drawbacks I should be aware of (tone sucking or anything)? - Any way to bypass all fx and amp modelling on the POD? rd2rk Posted December 18, 2016 Share Posted December 18, 2016 You want to be sure that the MP3's volume is off when you try this, as you could be VERY loud if the amp's Master isn't after the return jack.
