colind11
Hi, everyone. I have a question regarding using multiple effects while using the looper function on the firehawk fx. I checked through some of the forum questions and didn't see this specific situation, only some similar. So I'm fairly new to using multi effect pedals. My question is, is there a way to seamlessly change effects during a loop using this pedal? For example, in a situation where I'm playing live, I would like to loop an acoustic effect as a rhythm guitar and without stopping the loop change to a more distorted effect for a lead guitar part. Currently the only way I have been able to do it is to create the loop, stop the loop, change to a new channel where the distorted effect lives, reassign the loop to a channel from the app again and restart the loop. Otherwise whenever I change to a new foot switch the loop automatically stops. I think this is fine for recording or playing songs with pre recorded loops, but inconvenient when playing live, especially if there's a song request and I don't have a specific loop pre recorded. I hope this question makes sense. Thank you in advance for your help!
ADBrown
If you want to switch presets while a loop is playing you must have the looper assigned to a foot-switch in whichever presets you wish to switch between. To do this assign the looper to a foot-switch in each preset and make sure you save the preset so the looper remains assigned to a foot-switch. suedehead99
Thanks ADBrown. I never knew you could do that!
