thehef
I recently acquired a Spider II 75 watt amp. No pedal board but would like to get one. From the Line 6 pedal compatibility page, there's conflicting info on what's compatible. However, from these forums I'm gathering that while some of the bigger & better p-boards may work with the Spider II, I really wouldn't get much more out any of them than I will be able to get with the FBV4 (other than possibly wah effect). Is that accurate? So basically I'd be able to switch between the four programmed sounds, and anything else - such as tuning & accessing/tweaking other sounds & effects - would need to be done with fingers on the amp. Correct? Thanks in advance.
goodwrenchtj
I'm having the same problem as thehef. I just bought a spider2 30w and wondering which pedal to buy for it.Im not even sure the fbv4 express will work and they no longer make an fbv4. BillBee
http://line6.com/support/page/kb/_/effects-controllers/fbv-mki-mkii-controllers/the-complete-line-6-pedal-compatibility-faq-r58 Check out the FBV MKI as it is the best controller for the options the amps have. The FBV MKII would work as well. The FBV Express is OK but you are pretty limited as to what it controls and have only the 4 patches you can use.
