retuned
Hi, I want to use my HD500x to record in the Garageband App on my ipad. I want to use the tones in my HD500x to record, I don't want to use the Mobile POD App. What should I use to connect my HD500x to the ipad. Thanks Rob
Atrain_dlp
I use the Apogee Jam.
retuned
Thanks Atrain_dip, ive done a bit of research & i think the irig pro fits my needs. Question: Your Apogee Jam only has 1 jack input. Do you have to use a Y cable from your pod Left & Right outputs to the Apogee to get stereo effects (ie ping pong delay).
Atrain_dlp
That's a great point and I have only run it mono. It was a gift, I had not researched it. I mainly use it to capture ideas on my phone. I've made a few ring tones for family members with it too.
J_V_RO
Careful with the irig! I fried my iPad's input jack due to heavy signal that my POD HD500x was sending. I replaced the input jack but never used it again.
retuned
Thanks jvrock84, just a question regarding stereo effects (eg. ping pong delay). Did you have to connect your Pod HD500x to the iRig using a Y cable in order to achieve stereo effects on your DAW in your ipad.

Just be careful, I don't how much the iRig can resist, try it at low levels.
