Mongo79
Downloaded the Updater and when trying to open it, getting "Failed to create OpenGL context for format QSurfaceFormat" error. It's suggesting I need to install a driver OpenGL 2.0 or higher...I would think whatever drivers were needed would have came with the download?Anyhow, I'm an analog kind of guy and this software stuff is like a different language to me. I'm good at following concise instructions, however.Also...I purchased my Helix last year and have never updated the firmware..it's 1.06.5...the Helix "app" I downloaded to my PC is looking for version 2.20 or higher, so I assume once I get the Updater squared I'll be able to follow the tutorial page here on how to upgrade firmware? DunedinDragon
If you're good at following directions then you should probably follow the directions on downloading the most recent Helix app (ver. 2.21) as that's where everything starts, and follow it very precisely...every step. If you do, you'll notice the Helix app is what's responsible for downloading the appropriate version of the Line 6 Updater so I suspect your problem lies with you downloading the Updater separately and you overwrote the correct version of the Updater that had been previously loaded with the download of the Helix app that was there.
