Helix Rack Setup

im having trouble locating my answer in a search, but...

can i connect a line out from an amp source into the helix rack (which input, i don't want to use a loop return for that right?) and then go out from the helix rack into loop returns of two different amps?

essentially I'm looking for the helix to run post amp effects only and integrate into a wet/dry or faux-stereo setup i have...so, guitar into amp 1, into helix (modulation fx, etc), out of helix into amp 2 fx return...i prefer to take the line out from amp 1 rather than use loop.

which input do i use for the line out from the amp in this situation?

thanks a lot - in doing some reading it seems like that would be the way to go.

another question, in general - im a little confused. what is the difference between a Send output vs the 1/4" out for the purposes of running into a physical amp's loop Return?

Im starting to think i can run out of the Helix from either the 1/4" out or Send jack into an amp and no difference?

Both can work well.

But if you set up a typical 4-cable method, you might find you have flexibility to use some patches with the built in preamp models in Helix and some with the preamp in your amp and even switch between the two within a patch.
