thetonester Posted September 24, 2017 Share Posted September 24, 2017 Hi all..just ordered my helix from the USA..hurry up USPS!.( I'm in Perth West Australia)..I have a dt25 amp and was wondering if I can use the helix as a midi interface to update its firmware and use DTedit to blank out all its stuff in preparation for using L6 Link/Midi with it ( I was using a hd500x and of course no integration)...I hope so as the USB2.0Midi device I bought doesn't seem to want to play nice with line 6 monkey or DTEdit...any help appreciated guys...love my Line 6 gear...hope the helix rocks my world like the HD500X did!! spikey Posted September 24, 2017 Share Posted September 24, 2017 Well, Helix does have midi out, so if you set Helix to say midi channel 5, and the DT amp and DT-Edit to midi channel 1, it should not hurt anything to see if you can change settings and get a reply back into DT-Edit from the DT amp.
