Switch PCB Assembly for HD500X

One of my top row footswitches has become unreliable.   This looks like an easy fix without soldering,  for $18     I opened the back and blew out the switch, which got it working, for a day.  At that price, not worth messing with further.  Remove the back, remove some screwed, unplug a ribbon cable, and put it back together.

I did exactly what you are describing about a year ago. It's a fairly simple procedure. I do remember, however, there being some hot glue holding the ribbon plug in place so I used a xacto knife to carefully remove that.
