Indianrock2020
One of my top row footswitches has become unreliable. This looks like an easy fix without soldering, for $18 I opened the back and blew out the switch, which got it working, for a day. At that price, not worth messing with further. Remove the back, remove some screwed, unplug a ribbon cable, and put it back together. http://www.fullcompass.com/prod/280562-Line-6-50-02-0234 Top and bottom switch circuit board assembly for Line 6 POD HD500X guitar floor multi-effects pedal. soblivion
I did exactly what you are describing about a year ago. It's a fairly simple procedure. I do remember, however, there being some hot glue holding the ribbon plug in place so I used a xacto knife to carefully remove that. I also ordered a handfull of these: http://www.fullcompass.com/prod/184172-Line-6-24-31-1105 This way I can repair the original switchboard and have a backup on hand. Indianrock2020
Awesome thanks for that link. My hd500x was purchased in early 2015 and has pretty light use ( maybe 3 hours a month ) so I must have stomped FS2 too hard at some point
