Warren_Peace
Audio Experts, I want to play audio on my iPod and record it on my MacBook Pro. I can record audio with a program called Audio Hijack. My question is: What cable should I buy to connect an iPod to an older MacBook? The iPod port/connection is the standard headphone jack. (of course) My older MacBook does have an audio-in minijack. (Maybe a microphone jack?) What cable would I need that is audio-in/microphone on one end to standard headphone on the other? More details: A standard aux cable does not work, the microphone end is different. The USB to docking port cable does not work, the audio just comes out the internal headphones on the iPod. My MacBook Pro is early 2011 2.2 Mhz i7, 15 inch Thanks for any help!
