Shagamatula
Hello all, I got new teck need help please. I have an x32 producer which I would love to do a direct conection for recording (PC Cubase) from my Helix Rack. Im a bit of a noobe, so need help. I do not want to use my HeliX as my DAW. So my questions are:- Do I need to set my Helix to Freq to 4400? so as not to cause issues? Which is the most compatable rear direct media to use to conection from Helix Rack to my DAW. Sorry if Dump questions..Im an old fart trying to keep up....LOL
jbuhajla
Either a pair of XLR or 1/4" to your x32. You don't need worry about the sample rate (44, 48, 96kHz...) since you are not interfacing Helix digitally with another device.
PeterHamm
you don't want to use Helix as your interface, but you should consider perhaps if you can create an aggregate interface. In other words, both at the same time. On Mac you can usually do it, I don't mess with PC for this. Also, recording with Helix? Consider getting Native. If you have floor or Rack Helix it's only 99 bucks, and now you just record the guitar into the computer and re-amp on the fly. It's life changing.
