Helix FX how to add more than 6 effects?

Hi guys, apologies up front if I am missing the obvious...Page 29 of the Helix FX manual says "Signal Flow view's Footswitch parameter overwrites any automatic
assignment and lets you assign multiple effects to the same switch, and even allows for toggling between two or more effects." But there does not seem to be any clear cut description that follows on how to do this. How does one 1) assign the last 3 FX after the first 6 FX are taken by footswitches and 2) how does one then toggle between more than one or turn both on at the same time?  I DID read the manual, but maybe I'm just clueless, thanks!

You can assign multiple effects to one footswitch, and once you do that, they're tied together. That doesn't mean they all have to be on or off at the same time, just that the footswitch will toggle them all together. As far as how to assign effects to footswitches in Signal Flow view, you can select the bypass control by touching FS2 to active the controls in that scribble strip. Using knob 3, you can select the footswitch or expression you want to use to control the bypass of that block. Some effects, like wah, you wouldn't typically want to assign to a footswitch, so you can assign them to come on when you move the expression pedal.

In HX Edit, you can do all of this by clicking on the Bypass/Controller Assign tab beneath the signal flow view.
