thijst75
My idea is to use the POD HD500 for both acoustic and electric guitars, for which I have created separate patches. I want to send XLR to FOH, and jack to my own 2-channel monitor. The electric patches will be panned left, and the acoustic patches will be panned right. This way, I will have 2 separate signals (electric (L) and acoustic (R)), both for FOH and my own monitor. I have been reading a lot about signal routings and +6dB and spillovers etc but in all fairness I am a bit lost... will this work? Should I take anything into account? Signal flow should be this: Electric\ XLR-L > Electric FOH A/B switch >>> HD500 guitar input >>> XLR-R > Acoustic FOH Acoustic/ Jack-L > Electric monitor Jack-R > Acoustic monitor
pianoguyy
You can skip the A/B box and run them both into the unit.
thijst75
I know, but it’s a Pitchblack+ and apart from switching it’s also a great, clear, tuner. So I will keep that.
