SpaceJan
Hello everybody! Jan from Italy over here. Since it really puzzles me that the Pod HD bean cannot communicate with a standard midi controller, I thought that maybe some of you could help me out... Do you think my concoction could work or am I just wasting time? What would happen if I setup the following frankensteinish connection? USB out on the POD HD -> USB adapter *A female-*B male -> USB to MIDI cable -> midi cable -> midi controller Am I heading for an epic fail, or are there any chances I could get it to work? Thanks a lot everyone. :)
phil_m
That won't work. You need a host device for the POD's USB port to do anything. The only thing I've seen that does that sort of thing is this: http://www.kentonuk.com/products/items/utilities/usb-host.shtml I still have no idea if it would work, though.
SpaceJan
Thanks or your answer, Phil! I could try that device and see what happens...Virtually, if it works as it says, that is the thing that will do the stuff for me. The only con is that for the same money I could get a used Line6 midi pedal board... Gotta think about it for a while... ...Thanks again!
