maoETC
I was finally able to get the Line 6 Monkey software communicate to the server, to update it and update my Pocket Pod firmware. -- All this time the Pocket POD is connected to the computer -- I went to the Line 6 website and searched for archived updates. I am using Windows 7. I just chose the one on top, and then when the software installation was completed it asked if I wanted to launch the Line 6 Monkey software. I said yes. Then, it said that a new update was available and asked if I wanted to update the software. I said yes. I did this a few times, and then I decided to stop at the version 1.67. I just wanted to see if this had already made a difference. So, next time it asked if I wanted to do an update I said no. Then it asked if I wanted to launch the Line 6 Monkey software. I said yes. Once it opened, it immediately connected to the server, recognized the software version, and pointed that it needed to be updated to the latest version. It also was able to find my Pocket POD and pointed that it also needed a firmware update. From this point on, I was able to finish updating everything without issues. I hope this helps any one with this frustrating problem. Good luck and keep on rocking!!
