simonp54
Simple question. Does the HD PRO X have two independent FX LOOPS? i.e. can you have two FX BLOCKS in two separate places... Cabling would be a LOOP in the LEFT channel and a LOOP in the right channel. Totally separate. Many thanks. Simon

simonp54
Thanks for that absolute if not somewhat brief answer! Im guessing this is from experience/ownership of the device? :)
jandrio
Simple answer to a simple question. You can verify this through "POD HD500 Edit" software. Insert first an FX loop anywhere in the chain and the try to insert a second one . You will notify that the "FX-Loop" selection in the combo box is disabled. simonp54
Well this is why I thought I would check. I have owned an HD500 for about 3 years now... and I know HD 500 Edit very well.... however, I have not looked into HD PRO EDIT at all.... I am asking about the PRO X unit, not the HD500. jandrio
I do not own the HD PRO-X either, but checking from the rear-panel photo of the unit, I see that the HD PRO-X has only one set of FXLoop send/receive jacks.
simonp54
Yup and now I downloaded the HD PRO X EDIT software it does the same thing... so boo hiss it doesn't. Never mind. Shame tho. Wouldn't have been too hard to implement!
