Valgua Posted April 29, 2020 Share Posted April 29, 2020 Hi! I just bought an HX Stomp. I followed the manual. Having a Win10 PC i first installed the USB-driver. I then downloaded Line 6 Updater. I connected the unit with USB, turned it on, launched Line 6 Updater and... nothing. The program doesn't start. At all. Interestingly, Line 6 Updater launches if the device is disconnected, which defies the whole purpose of the program. In fact, I even tried to launch the program and then turn on the HX Stomp. DunedinDragon Posted April 29, 2020 Share Posted April 29, 2020 Well the first thing I'd suggest is to read the release notes for the version you're installing because the manual, it appears, is way behind in the way updates are done if what you're saying is true. Valgua Posted April 29, 2020 Author Share Posted April 29, 2020 Ok! Well, I solved the problem by launching Line6 updater on my wife’s mac. I’ll read the release notes out of curiosity, though. The manual that I downloaded does indeed recommend the procedure that I describee. The Stomp seems to work fine with HX Edit on windows, which is nice.
