POD HD Pro X Footswitch Compatibility

Hey there

I’ve been a long time user of my rackmount POD (HD Pro X) and I’ve found myself in a situation where I need the ability to switch between 2 (or more) patches.

I was wondering if anyone has had experience in using multi-purpose latch-style footswitches (such as the Boss FS-L) with this unit.

I’m hoping a single footswitch would be possible to use for toggling between patches, if there’s a way of programming this on the POD itself or through the Edit software.

Note I’m not looking for a large footswitch to engage/disable various effects on a patch, but rather to switch between two presets.

Been struggling to find info on this, I am aware of the floorboard POD units, but would much prefer a more budget-friendly option and something that occupies less floor space.

Looking forward to hearing from you all!

... is not possible..

but you can find and easily use a 2 button MIDI programmable controller..

there are several on the market with different prices, find the one that best suits your needs.
