davidlehew 0 Posted August 26, 2020 Hey all. I was wondering why the minimum frequency for a hi cut block is 1000 hz? I'd love to have access to a lower frequency so I can do some fun filter sweeps with an expression pedal or even with the knobs. Is this going to be in the new update? Is there a work around to achieve this goal?

Likely because a signal below 1 kHz doesn't count as "high" anymore. :) 2 hours ago, davidlehew said: Is there a work around to achieve this goal? A wah-wah? davidlehew 0 Posted August 27, 2020 I may be wrong, but I think the wah wah is a movable bandpass filter. That's not what I'm trying to do 32 minutes ago, lou-kash said: Likely because a signal below 1 kHz doesn't count as "high" anymore. :) A wah-wah? . Correct, below is 1000 hz is probably more mids territory. However what I want is to be able to cut everything above a very low frequency and slowly sweep up to create dramatic sound. lou-kash 42 Posted August 27, 2020 Use two Lo/Hi Cut blocks to double the effect. Or use the Parametric EQ and also add the High/Mid Gain/Freq parameters to your expression pedal. Sounds spooky indeed! :)
lou-kash 42 Posted August 27, 2020 At the same time you can also reverse the Low Gain to slightly boost the lows in heel position.
