HX Edit 3.0 download is really ver 2.9 (OSX)

I've upgraded the firmware for the Helix floor and when I download the HXEdit3.0 file, the installer says "Welcome to the HX Edit 2.90 installer."  I installed it anyway and it is indeed still ver 2.90.  The FILE is called HXEdit3.00.dmg though. I've deleted HX Edit from the computer only to have the same issue.  There is no version 3.0 for OSX.

Yes there is!

I’m going to guess that you used Firefox for the download from Line 6, and when it landed on your computer you decided to let Firefox open the .dmg installer?

No, download HX Edit 3 and save the file to your hard drive then open it from there.

If you downloaded the .dmg using Safari, then try flushing the cache from Safari and download again.

Hope this helps/makes sense

and if not please report back.

It happens to me as well, and this does not solve the problem. When I open the 3.11 dmg, the installer says it is the 2.90 Installer
