HXFX - HX Edit crashing

Details:

 

• HX Edit and HXFX updated to 3.0 - HX Edit crashes
• HX Stomp updated to 3.0 - HX Edit works flawlessly
• Using iMac w/Catalina 10.15.7

 

Hi all,

 

HX Edit continually crashes when I attempt to re-position blocks on HXFX.

 

I also have an HX Stomp w/3.0 and that has no issues when using HX Edit.

 

Problem Report attached for reference.

 

Any thoughts on what's causing this?

Just to clarify, you say that using HX Edit with the Stomp is O.K., but crashes when using HX Edit with the HXFX. What happens if you edit/move blocks on the HXFX if it is not connected to the editor in the computer? If the hardware does the same, maybe a glitch is causing the issue, and if you re-flash the firmware in the HXFX it might clear it. Just a thought.
