Natropath
Hey All. I have a HX Effects which I updated to 3.01. When I engage the Looper (any one of them, whether or not there are other effects engaged) my unit freezes. I can't engage (or disengage) the effects in my presets, but sound comes through. I don't need to save any of the presets in the unit, so I would absolutely wipe the unit if I needed to. Oh one more thing, I did of course back up the unit before the update, and when I tried to revert to the back up, it didn't seem to work. I absolutely could (definitely) have done something wrong, so I open to any suggestion, and If you suggest something I already did, and forgot to mention it, it'll just help me eliminate some possibilties. Thanks!

Thanks! First off make sure you installed HX Edit 3.0. When you say "revert to backup" did you do a 'Restore from Backup" from the HX Edit menu? If so can you provide some more details on how it failed, e.g. error message or hang? First thing I might try is taking another backup, not critical as you say you are willing to sacrifice your current presets but nice to have if you can get one to work. Try a global reset and then restore from backup. If that does not work I might try re-updating the firmware.
