There is a limitation on PodXT effect chain, i.e. - You can only have one pedal from one group: either autowah or bender, but not both - Impossible to have flanger, phaser and tremolo in the same chain. Or distortion, autowah and bender. Does Pod HD500x have this limitation? I know my Zoom G1On does not have those limitations, but the sound is crappy. pianoguyy Posted February 7, 2021 Share Posted February 7, 2021 The HD500X does not have those limitations. In fact, if you want to have 8 flangers, go right ahead. The HD500X has 2 limitations: 1. the maximum is 8 effects and 2 amps. 2. there is a DSP limit. - and the limit is a "which ever comes first" scenario This means that; sure, you can run 8 effects, but if those are heavy DSP users (I like to use the example of 8 delays), you may only be able to get 7.
