Hi guys, quick question

I use exp pedal 1 to blend in a lead sound (bringing rev, del, drive, ch volume) in a mix ... When I activate exp 2 for wah I have the feeling it also has an impact on exp 1 ...

Can this be true or how can I overcome this ?

thx

Raf

Check the Controller Assign list to be sure that Exp 1 is only assigned to wah.

If that checks out, you can try a factory reset (BACK UP FIRST!).

If you're sure it's still happening, in HX Edit watch the sliders in each effect and the I/O blocks to see if anything is moving that shouldn't be.

If that checks out, you may be imagining it. We can't help you with that..... :-)

But seriously -

Keep in mind that wah is a frequency filter. Our ears/minds perceive sound differently at different frequencies. It's complicated.

Maybe you just don't like the way the wah you're primarily using sounds. Some of them have frequency adjustments.

Try changing them.

Try different wahs in different presets.

Also, pay attention to your technique. Wah , played well, is itself an instrument. Played thoughtlessly, it's a quacky toy for children.
