Helix Native Questions

Hi. I'm new to this world. Just got my Stomp and Helix Native and am very happy with the sounds and possibilities.

 

I'm hoping for some answers about:

 

Whether it's possible/necessary to register my purchase of Native. I don't see it listed on the pull down menu of the Register your Product page.

 

Can I use Native on my iPad? Pretty sure that's a "no".

Hi,

 

Yes, it is both possible and absolutely necessary to register your copy of Helix Native. If you don't activate the registration, it will work as the demo version until the end of the trial period.

 

To activate your Helix Native plug-in, sign in to your Line 6 account. Once there, click the activation link on the lefthand side panel headed Hardware & Software , enter your activation code, and click submit. Your activation code is located in the Software Activation Instructions email sent from your Sales Engineer, or on the Invoice for your purchase.

 

Then you will need to authorise your computer to use the newly installed plug-in. Simply open your DAW, launch Helix Native, and sign in with your Line 6 username and password. 

• Open your DAW of choice and insert the Helix Native plug-in to a track.
• Sign in with your Line 6 username and password.
• Click Authorize This Computer.

Thanks. I did take cars of the activation process and the Purchase History/Order Details show that I've activated Native and authorized one of the five devices I'm allowed. 

 

I think the terminology is what threw me. I was thinking that I'd need to do a separate registration process, as I'd done with my Stomp. The Registered Gear section of the registration page only shows that unit. I was wondering whether Native was in the "Gear" category or not. Guess not, seeing as it's not on the pull down menu.
