sleewell Posted August 30, 2021 Share Posted August 30, 2021 ideally my LT in 4cm with my 6505 would be my perfect rig but I am experiencing some problems that hopefully I can resolve. when my amp's master volume is on 2 everything is perfect. however when I turn it up to 3 which is where we normally play I am getting really bad shrieks and uncontrollable feedback. I try to gate it back down but it kinda takes the balls out of my sound. I use the gate on the horizon drive and then the horizon gate after my amp. do I just need to tweak it more to find the best balance? should I try to lower the levels of the fx loop block? lastly I cannot get my helix to change the channels on my 6505. I bought a brand new TRS cable and still can't figure it out. I can get my helix to change channels on other amps but not my 6505.
