Leavon Posted January 30, 2022 Share Posted January 30, 2022 Hi, so I have a HX effects and a Boss IR200, I imagined I would be easily able to use the HX to switch through amps on the IR200 and add effects as and when I need them. I run my HX in Stomp mode and when I assign the 3 midi program changes to 3 footswitches, it changes channels fine but the switches obviously don't toggle the state of the other switches so the illumination is meaningless as soon as I press another switch. So I thought I could assign the midi program changes to 3 snapshots on the lower row, and then I could have a Delay, chorus and rotary on the footswitches above and toggle the effects on and off. Now I will admit I don't really get Snapshots but it seems that every time I activate one, it then remembers any footswitch presses I make. Is there anyway to just set the Snapshot to do the midi amp changes and be able to activate my effects independently of the snapshots? Leavon Posted February 1, 2022 Author Share Posted February 1, 2022 Just in case anyone else was having similar troubles, I found the solution in the Bypass Snapshot:Off setting in the Action menu. I can now have 3 snapshots assigned to midi functions and effects blocks assigned to footswitches independent of the Snapshots. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
