adagosto Posted February 9, 2022 Share Posted February 9, 2022 Hi all, Can anyone confirm this... The Line 6 original amps like the Vetta for instance are in the Helix brain. Does that "amp model" actually represent the exact physical amp? If the Helix were paired with a similar speaker and speaker cabinet would the real Vetta amp and the Helix sound pretty close to each other? DunedinDragon Posted February 9, 2022 Share Posted February 9, 2022 All models are created by duplicating the operations of the original amp's circuitry in the digital world whether it's a Line 6 amp or not, so it should be representative of the original amp's operations. When you apply a cab you also have to apply one or more mic's and mic placements to capture that sound. So it will sound close to that amp and that cab mic'd in the same way.
