silverhead Posted February 15, 2022 Share Posted February 15, 2022 Artifacts will happen when you instantaneously change values in many amp/FX settings. Often the cause is a dramatic change in a time-based parameter like delay or chorus, or a significant change in amp gain. Happens with analog pedals too when you twist the dials rapidly.
