Helix / Midi guitar / Sound Canvas VA

Greetings,

I pretty much have the Helix figured out as far as creating custom sounds with pedals/amps/cabs, and correctly choosing inputs and outputs.  I haven't figure out how to make a custom Variax sound and have it select via footswitch - I had this figured out on my old Variax 300 (still have it!) and my Pod XT Live (still have that, too!) so I am sure I'll figure it out for my Helix/Shuriken.

What I am trying to figure out is how to use my Helix with Jam Origin Midi Guitar so that I can make my Variax sound like anything, and to use Sound Canvas VA instruments (I have 90's nostalgia and will probably try to use MT-32 sounds for 80's vibes, hehehe.) I can get the test piano sound to play, but there is terrible latency, and it isn't sound or working correctly. My PC is an AMD 5900x with 32B RAM, and I am using Windows 10, and I also have a Sound Blaster AE-9 sound card installed.

I was wondering if anyone could help me with the proper settings on the Helix to have it 100% set up and ready on the hardware end of things. Once I know that my Helix is set up correctly ( am outputting XLR-to-PA, 1/4" to my home stereo, and USB-to-PC as my output options,) I can mess with Midi Guitar, SC VA, and try some free DAWs, and then go to the Jam Origin forum if I can't figure it out from there, but will be able to inform others that I have my Helix set up correctly.

Many thanks!

Quietus
