Srgreen86 Posted February 21, 2023 Share Posted February 21, 2023 Can I use the Line 6 POD HD500X to transpose the key of what the guitar is playing … eg guitar plays a G chord and the Line 6 sends an F chord out (transposing -2 semitones)? silverhead Posted February 21, 2023 Share Posted February 21, 2023 If the guitar is a Variax JTV or later model then yes, but in that case it’s actually the guitar doing the transposing. The HD500X is just sending a command to the Variax telling it guitar to do it. With a regular guitar you are limited to using one of the monophonic pitch shift FX blocks.
