Computer "Noise"

Hi,

I just picked up a HX Stomp. One issue that's bugging me. Stand alone, plugged into my amps, everything's nice and quiet. When I attached other pedals, still nice and quiet. No excess hum or noise on the amps. When I'm connected to the PC I get a hum on one amp, and a hissing on the other. No noise on the headphones (perfectly clean). Any ideas? Is it grounding?

Thanks

Yes, it is a power supply issue, likely grounding. You can try plugging the Stomp and PC into different circuits in your household wiring. You can also try different USB ports on your computer. You can buy a hum-eliminator device. You can use a desktop rather than laptop PC.
