Naissance47
Dear Line 6 community, I have a POD HD 500 that has some malfunction for a while: it turns on, works (there is sound, etc.). The problem is that the screen displays anything, as well as the LEDs on each pedal, making the pedalboard unusable (see a picture of the screen attached). Has anyone ever had this type of problem, or has any idea of the origin of the problem (or a solution)? I have already tried to RESET the stuff by pressing the left arrow while turning it on, but I'm not sure if it does anything. I should mention that it didn't fall off or anything, and the problem happened overnight. I thank you for your precious help in advance! Best! silverhead
If you’re lucky this is caused by a loose wiring connectors inside your POD HD500. The connectors are just plastic plugs on the ends of two wiring cables. They may simply have come loose. It can be fixed by opening up the device, locating the loose connection joint, and plug the connectors back together tightly. If you’re unlucky a chip of some sort has failed and a replacement will need to be purchased and installed at a Line 6 Service Centre.
