boynigel Posted April 4, 2023 Share Posted April 4, 2023 i've been editing my snapshots to dictate external amp channel changes for each channel of my 3 channel amp. it's been going fine with most of my presets... except for presets that require the amp stay on the same channel for all 4 snapshots (my LT is configured w/4 stomps on top, 4 SS's below). it seems that, per preset, i can only have the same external amp channel set to two SS's. For example- if my first 2 snapshots are assigned to channel two of my external amp, that's fine, but as soon as i try to assign the 3rd SS to use channel two, everything goes screwy, as in suddenly the previous 2 snapshots now have switched to channel 1. I thought that in a case like this that maybe the problem was that i needed to assign a separate instant command to the other two SS's, but that doesn't work either. the manual is limited on this topic so i can't figure out what i'm doing wrong here/ Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
boynigel Posted April 4, 2023 Author Share Posted April 4, 2023 Okay, i'm going to answer my own question as i figured this out shortly after posting, in case someone else ever runs into this. After what seems to be a failed attempt to program the SS's, i found that if i save the patch, even though the SS switches aren't functioning based on my command programming for them, if I then switch to another patch and come back, then the switches magically work the way i programmed them to. weird, but whatever, it works.
