BogdanIfrim
Hello everyone, So about 2 months ago i moved from the UK to Spain. I had my Helix line6 LT bought from the UK new, brought it with me to Spain and when i plugged it in at my place it seems to be making a buzzing noise. I have to mention, if i touch the strings or any metal parts on the guitar, that noise goes away or you can only hear it a bit, if i touch my laptop it does the same.Obviously this has to be an earthing isue. My question is, could it be the fact that the place i live at has quite an old electrical installation? or could it be the fact that Helix from the UK won't support EU type of power voltage? i tried to look for answers on google and youtube but couldn't seem to find a proper answer. I haven't tried a different location to see if the earthing of my flat is the issue. Thanks!

And it could very possibly be "the place i live at has quite an old electrical installation". It can sometimes be cured by simply plugging one unit into a different outlet. I don't know enough about UK/EU/Spain electricity to know, but I am going to assume that different volts would cause a different issue, not a grounding issue.
