Broken plastic corners

Four of the plastic corners on my new Catalyst 60 have broken.

This happened after I laid the amp face up in the back of my hatchback, on a burlap bag, and traveled to a gig and back. Three corners popped off, and one was partly broken but remained on the amp. The glued-in plastic insert that surrounds the controls also became disengaged and slipped out.

I have placed other amps face-up in the back of my car and never had a problem with the corners popping off.

Amp sounds fine, but this is disturbing. Has anybody else had this problem?

The same thing happened to me with a new amp, when I realized the frame was loose, the 15 days of return had already passed so I stuck it with 3M double-sided tape to see if it holds. The amp is great, it's a Catalyst 200 2x12, I love it but that's a complete mess.

I have just replaced my Catalyst because the top plastic border fell off after two days. In the new one it broke again almost immediately.

There are a lot of report of the power selector potentiometer breaking as well so that's something to watch out for.

No wonder these are so heavily discounted now to sub-katana levels. This is a distaster.
