pkordel Posted November 20, 2023 Share Posted November 20, 2023 I have a HX Stomp running firmware version 3.60 and I tried running the 3.70 update. Followed all steps required, including updating HX Edit to 3.70 and connecting Stomp directly to my computer. Expected results: Perform backup Perform update Actual result: Error message appears: Error updating firmware Perform the following steps: 1. Switch off Device 2. Restart HX Edit and try again 3. ? Step one performed Outcome: HX Stomp unresponsive, will no longer boot. Not recognized by HX Edit, Line 6 Central, Line 6 Updater 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

babalaughing Posted November 26, 2023 Share Posted November 26, 2023 Having the error message as outlined by pkordel. Switched the HX Stomp off and did a factory reset by holding down switches 2 and 3 while powering up the unit. The reset was successful, and shows v3.70. HX Edit shows "No updates available". Therefore I have no way of knowing whether the firmware has been updated. Is there a way to force the firmware update? How can I determine whether the firmware has already been updated?
