dv133
Hi, I've recently started experiencing an issue with my Pod HD300 where the volume appears to cut out while palm muting. This happens with every preset, clean or distorted, even when no amp sim is used at all - it sounds like the gate is coming on, as if the signal has gone below a certain threshold, however this even happens when the gate is completely turned off! I've tried a factory reset, my firmware is fully up-to-date too, but nothing seems to fix this issue. Interestingly this doesn't happen when the unit is in test mode. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.
hurghanico
Some POD internal components may need re-soldering.. Perhaps what is described in the following post could be useful in solving your problem: https://line6.com/support/topic/33436-pod-hd-300-problem/?do=findComment&comment=363848 an excerpt: << I resoldered with liquid flux all the U8(072 op amp) and D3 legs and straight away all was well even after freezing and heating again . So it was a thermal expansion fracture of solder legs problem No new parts needed! >> _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ All about POD HD500/X help and useful tips
