Amplitube

Hi,

I have little knowledge of using guitar computer interfaces, but I wish to experiment.l, so please forgive what some of you more experienced guys might consider a dumb question.

My question is, Can I use pod go wireless as an interface to my PC running windows 11? And then use an app such as Amplitube to output to my guitar via Podgo

I use studio monitors on my Podgo.

If possible, does Podgo attach to pc with usb. Or do I need a good sound card.

Not interested in recording, just using something like Amplitube, for my effects/ amp etc..

I thought of doing this purely for more flexibility

Thanks

Yes to all questions. Connect your POD Go to your PC via USB. Make sure you have the POD Go drivers installed - you will have done so by installing POD Go Edit.

Sorry, just one more question if I may please.

So I have a connection between Podgo and Amplitude, have chosen inputs and outputs 3 &4 in the Amplitude Asio Podgo driver.

Now I'm not sure what I need to do at the Podgo end, I note I am still hearing the effects of whichever preset is chosen on my Podgo

Question is, I guess their must be a way of getting Podgo to play effects on Amplitude, whilst ignoring what's on Podgo

It must be something simple (Me) that's wrong here.

Any ideas gratefully received

Thanks again

I’m confused by your mention of the Amplitube ASIO driver. You should be using the POD Go ASIO driver and configuring Amplitube to use the POD Go inputs and outputs. I think that may be what you are actually doing. If so, your use of USB 3/4 as the Input is correct - the dry guitar signal.

Try changing your Amplitube Ouptut to use POD Go USB 1&2. If you are still hearing the POD Go processing, use an empty preset - remove or bypass all processing blocks.

Apologies I meant the Podgo Asio driver inside amplitude settings

Thanks @silverhead for all your help, much appreciated, all working now
