Hello. Output Question on HX Edit.

Hello Everyone.

New here, new to Helix.

 

Mac OSX

Scarlet 8i6

Helix LT

Logic

 

Currently just have my Helix LT 1/4" to my Marshall and set up my amps and pedals directly on the HelixLT

 

Started playing around with HX Edit.  So now I have my Mac Running directly to the Helix so I can do all my program in on the computer and port it over.

 

I also have a Scarlet hooked up to my computer.  I was wondering... can I plug my guitar into my scarlet, send the signal to HX Edit and then out to the Helix LT via the USB cable? 

 

I'm trying to figure this out and I feel like it's almost working.

 

If I play a you tube video... the sound comes out of my amp. and the only connection is through out the computer to the Helix LT via USB then to the amp via 1/4"... But if I plug in my guitar... no sound.  However Logic picks up the guitar just fine.

 

I have input set to Multi in HX Edit and output to set to Multi as well.

 

Any advice?
