gitapik
I'm experimenting with hooking my Stomp up to a Midi Maestro. I've dedicated one page on the Maestro to three functions of the Stomp Looper (top row) and then assigning three Snapshots of the Presets to the bottom three buttons. I've got a Mission Engineering dual switch set as FS 4 and 5 on the Stomp. Four is a boost that's been set in the Output block of all my Presets. Five toggles between the different Modes. Problem: When I kick in the FS4 boost to solo over a loop I've set on the Maestro; the entire track gets boosted along with the solo. So the solo doesn't cut through. Any way I can get around this or am I stuck with having to set a lead Snapshot to make it work? Or a stand alone boost pedal attached to the Stomp (?). rd2rk
Using FS4: You can use a GAIN Block at the end of the signal chain. If you're using a compressor at the end ala Jason Sadites you can use its level. An EQ at the end use its level. A cab at the end use its level. You get the idea.
