minuano68
Hey everyone, I haven't opened the Pod Go Edit application on my mac in long time and when trying to open it crashed. I tried this numerous times and even tried rebooting the app, redownloading it, and rebooting my mac. Here is the details: Translated Report (Full Report Below) ------------------------------------- Process: POD Go Edit [1959] Path: /Applications/Line6/POD Go Edit.app/Contents/MacOS/POD Go Edit Identifier: com.line6.podgoedit Version: 1.10 (1.1.0) Code Type: X86-64 (Native) Parent Process: launchd [1] User ID: 501 Date/Time: 2024-07-01 16:54:06.3055 -0700 OS Version: macOS 14.5 (23F79) Report Version: 12 Bridge OS Version: 8.5 (21P5077) Anonymous UUID: E9843FEC-8150-ED67-7C32-7C7C2D4BFBB2 Sleep/Wake UUID: 38A7A9FF-3F73-4C0D-BDA1-AFEFF815EECA Time Awake Since Boot: 1400 seconds Time Since Wake: 857 seconds System Integrity Protection: enabled Crashed Thread: 0 Dispatch queue: com.apple.main-thread Exception Type: EXC_BAD_INSTRUCTION (SIGILL) Exception Codes: 0x0000000000000001, 0x0000000000000000 Termination Reason: Namespace SIGNAL, Code 4 Illegal instruction: 4 Terminating Process: exc handler [1959] (There's more but I'm assuming this is all that is needed) I understand maybe I don't have the most up-to-date version of the software but since the app won't open the software won't transfer, I believe. Can anyone help please? Thanks.
theElevators
Download the Pod Go edit version that matches your firmware version on the POD Go. You will see what version that is when you boot it. Go to this website, select Pod Go as hardware, Pod Go Edit as software, and your OS. https://line6.com/software/index.html Sometimes Pod Go Edit crashes. But for me, that doesn't happen consistently, only very rarely. If you've downloaded the right software and it still crashes, then back up your Pod Go on another computer, if you can. Last resort is to perform a factory reset, but you will unfortunately lose your personal presets/settings in the process.
