Hx Stomp Controlling MIDI but...?

A quick run down of my setup:

I'm wanting to run my Hx Stomp so i'm able to control presets on my Strymon BigSky & TimeLine however, is it possible to also have internal effects on the Hx Stomp like pitch, modulation, etc apart of those MIDI changes I send?  I'm also trying to run an Overdrive and an EQ pedal in the loop of the Hx stomp to be apart of those internal changes with an effects loop block.

Just curious the best way to go about it if I'm overcomplicating it or not

If I understand correctly you need to set up individual presets in your HX stomp and use the Command Centre in the Stomp to define the MIDI commands you want to send to your external equipment when the Stomp preset is selected. Your HX Stomp becomes your system midi controller. Then as you load the individual Stomp presets your external devices will be configured as specified.

Basically yes. The Command Center allows you to specify a number of MIDI commands that will be sent to other devices instantly when you load an HX Stomp preset. So the preset select switch is the one that controls things. Additionally, while the preset is active you can specify other commands associated with a footswitch, just like you can assign a footswitch to turn FX a locks in the preset on/off.

Read the Command Center section of the HX Stomp manual and come back with specific questions if necessary.
