Helixpod2024
I found a quite cheap used Pod Go online and bought it. What problems/issues should I check when the unit arrives to ensure it's problem-free before allowing payment to be transferred to the seller? Moreover, How should I check if it's an original product instead of a pirated one?
silverhead
Obtain the device serial number from the seller. Then contact Line 6 Support and ask 2 questions: - Is this a valid serial number that I will be able to register as the new owner? - Does this device suffer from the input impedance issue? (a known hardware issue in earlier manufacturing cycles that has now been resolved. There is a lifetime warranty for this in affected units, but you will need to have it repaired.) Otherwise, like all used devices, it may have issues that you won’t/can’t discover until you’ve used it for a while. Caveat Emptor.
Helixpod2024
Thank you, Silver Head. I appreciate your input. I am new on line 6 products and the unit is coming here already. Once it arrives, I have only two days to return in case there's a problem. What would be the quickest path to check the serial number? Once you have the device you can attempt to register it to your Line 6 account. To do so click on the Support link at the top of this page. Scroll down the page and you will see the Account Services section. Select Register Gear. If you are able to register it then the serial number is valid. If you encounter a problem open a support ticket or call Line 6. Both methods of contact are described in the Contact Us link in the Support area.
