Hd500 Recording Loop Volume Problem

I have my HD500 set up 4 cable method through my Mesa Dual Rectifier.

I have the  HD500 effects loop set so that it matches the same volume as my amp when FX is not engaged.

I have it set up for When I stomp on my Mesa foot switcher FX button to turn off the loop it is the same volume.

When I want to record a loop so that I can play over the top of it live , the recorded loop volume is barely noticeable? How do I fix this problem? How do I adjust the volume levels so all is in sink with my rig ?

Appreciate the help.

Frustrated Me

I think you are referring to two different HD500 'loops' in your description: the FX Loop and the Looper that supports recording.

If the volume levels you are having trouble with relate to the Looper (not the FX Loop) you can control those levels. Select the Looper in the signal chain view. The display will show controls for the Record and Playback Looper volumes. Try adjusting those.
