Stereo Amps No Right output

[SOLVED - SEE BELOW]

I have 2 amps set up with 4 cable method

Guitar->Pod Go guitar in

Pod FX loop send->TRS Insert cable->Amp guitar inputs

Amp FX sends->TRS Insert cable->Pod FX return

Pod Main outs->TS cables->Amp FX returns

Only getting sound from the left amp, but the right amp's volume control controls the left amp's volume.  Have tried everything - moving the pod stereo fx loop around in the chain etc.  Cables are good.

Question is - Do the pod's left/right main outs support 2 x unbalanced TS cables in stereo, or balanced TRS only?

Do I have to get another TRS insert cable to go from the headphone out of the pod to the amp fx returns?

Have you tried without the FX  Loop?  I think the FX Loop might be the culprit; apparently can be configured mono or stereo, but I'm guessing that if it's configured mono or the issue is one of the effects in the FX Loop block, the FX might be receiving no signal in the FX Loop return and that's why it's outputting no sound for 1 channel.  Having 1 mono effect in FX Loop would kill stereo.

So just testing with FX Loop disabled, are you getting anything?  Maybe test with just 1 amp + 1 stereo delay, to be sure it's not a mono effects block or something screwing things up!

Ok so no stereo in your FX block, your stereo effects should be after your pod [amp / FX Loop], if you're using 4 CM you obviously can't send stereo to your amp.

Again, KISS, (Keep It Simple, Stupid), just try guitar + stereo effect, that'll confirm your L6 FX unit can indeed output Stereo correctly, then add 4CM and FX Block, which cannot be Stereo with 4CM, and but I guess could contain something like   [L6 FX Loop Out -> Amp out -> Stereo Effect -> L6 FX Loop In], but any stereo effect before the FX Block would get 'eaten' by the amp which isn't stereo.

Ok thanks for your help.  I tried KISS with just the TS cables from main out on the pod to front of amps with nothing in the chain except ping pong delay and it works, so at least that is eliminated and it's something to do with the fx loop itself.

[SOLVED]  I tore everything down and rebuilt.  I noticed the left main out is on the right hand side and the right main out is on the left hand side, so the cables have to cross.  You wouldn't think it would matter, you would just get reversed stereo, but apparently it does.  The amps have a switch on the fx loop for line or instrument level, I may have had one amp on line and the other on instrument.  Using the same patch it now works and it does not matter if the fx loop is on or off, before or after the stereo ping pong, it works great.  Not 100% sure what it was.  Thanks grdGo33.
