jjfofo
Hello all! I've researched and I want to make sure I'm doing this right. I have a Helix LT & a vintage Roland JC-120 without an FX loop. Right now, I am just running (2) 1/4 cables from the back of the Helix (L&R) into the Mains inputs on the back of the JC-120. This seems to work but I just wanted to confirm this is the correct way to set it up and that I won't damage my Helix or the amp using it this way. Any help for this newbie would be appreciated :)
theElevators
It's absolutely fine to do what you're doing. Just beware that you are coloring your sound because any preamp will always do that.
jjfofo
Thanks for the response @theElevators! Yes I would like to use it to bypass the pre-amp and use it a bit like my Powercab 112. Thank you!
