mysterytrain
Might it be possible via a firmware update to allow the expression pedal to control the overdub level while in Looper mode? I believe the default overdub level is fixed at around 95% or something like that. It would be a really nice addition for those into more ambient or delay based looping to be able to adjust the overdub level on the fly. This is possible on more recent Line 6 devices, and on the older M-series units. Since there is no physical control for that parameter in DL4 mk II, I suppose it would have to simply default to whatever the min/max-heel/toe expression values are. There really wouldn't be a way to choose a specific heel/toe value. But perhaps there could be an additional option to invert the min-max, heel-toe position. I imagine this would offer a deeper level of looping for some, and make the mk II a contender for those who seek that kind of functionality in a looper. mysterytrain
How about this: in Classic Looper mode you could hold down the Alt/Legacy button while pressing two switches simultaneously (let's say switches "B" and "C"). Now the Alt/Legacy button turns red, or yellow, or some color to indicate you now have access to the hidden "Overdub Level" control. At this point the Mix knob controls the Overdub Level from 0-100%, and allows you to assign heel/toe expression control. Then press any switch to get back to Classic Looper mode. Just a thought.
