nrkorsakov
Hi! For reasons of wiring up a pedalboard, can you leave the sends and returns of the HX Stomp always plugged in, but not actually use them or affect the signal-path or use up a block? They would have plugs in them, but go via cables to unplugged extension jacks. I want to wire the pedalboard so that these jacks are always available on utility jacks (with no pedals plugged into them) on the rear of the pedalboard, but am not planning on using them at the moment. Just want that option some day if I suddenly need that or want to plug in some extra analog pedals in the chain via adding a send/return block. Thank you! silverhead
The physical Send/Return jacks are ignored unless the HX Stomp preset includes a Send/Return block that is active. There’s should be no isssue with your plan.

michelle653b
Hello! Absolutely, you can keep the sends and returns of the HX Stomp always plugged in without using them in the signal path or taking up a block. By wiring the pedalboard so that the sends and returns go to unplugged extension jacks, you essentially keep the option prepaid gift balance open for future use without affecting the current setup. This setup allows you to add send/return blocks whenever you need to incorporate extra analog pedals into your chain. It’s a smart way to ensure flexibility and convenience in your pedalboard configuration without any immediate impact on your signal path.
